How does this service work?
Clients choose their selections from the Well Stocked NYC menu and personal chef Liz Winston cooks their meals, just for them.
The menu centers healthy, protein-rich main dishes and flavorful, thoughtful vegetable sides, as well as an array of creative snacks, lunches, and desserts.
The menu is highly customizable, and can be adapted to accomodate allergies, dietary needs, and of course, personal preferences.
New clients can reach out via text (646-580-2006) and select three menu items and a delivery date. The day of their delivery, Liz Winston grocery shops that morning and prepares their meals that day, just for them, to their specifications. The meals that are delivered still-warm that evening, and can be enjoyed for the following week.
What does it cost?
The fee for meal delivery is $399, plus separate charges for groceries and delivery.
Each session involves cooking three relatively elaborate family dinners. Each dinner is at least 6 servings (18 servings total). The session is designed to create a week of dinners for two parents and two small children.
Groceries are sourced from Whole Foods, and the grocery bill is typically $160 - $220, depending on your menu selections and preferences. The Lyft for delivery is typically $15 - $60, depending on your distance from Park Slope in Brooklyn.
Why opt for custom meal prep?
New Yorkers lead demanding lifestyles, and especially so if they are parents of babies or small children. For many, cooking healthy multi-ingredient dinners is at the very bottom of the priority list.
The prevailing alternatives to cooking for yourself at home are not great: ordering takeout or subscribing to expensive meal delivery services where food is mass-prepared and the quality and presentation leave much to be desired.
What we eat, and how we eat it, is really important. Eating well is way to really take care of ourselves and tend to ourselves, especially if the demands on our time and energy can feel overwhelming.
Knowing you can open your refrigerator just before dinnertime and choose from fresh, healthy meals that were lovingly prepared just for you makes dinnertime with your family something to really look forward to and savor.
